Ken Bott has been in the payments and partnership space for more than 20 years across the travel and hospitality industries. His current role focuses on executing prepaid sales, emerging payments and partnership development to amplify brand experiences in a guest-centric way.
Michelle Brasfield - KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Assistant Special Agent in Charge
Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA)

Michelle Brasfield is the assistant special agent in charge at the TIGTA, responsible for data services and providing investigative guidance to the TIGTA’s field divisions. Michelle directs agents’ investigations and leads criminal investigations for impersonation and interference with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). She has close strategic relationships with the Department of Justice, and federal and local law enforcement agencies across the U.S. Additionally, she frequently works with retailers such as Best Buy, MoneyGram, Target, and Walmart. Michelle joined the TIGTA in 1989, and previously served as an internal auditor, special agent, and assistant special agent in charge.

Andy Choi

Business Development Manager

Andy Choi is a business development manager at Disney Gift Cards Services, Inc. and is responsible for identifying and increasing distribution opportunities that provide strategic growth for B2B and other sales channels. He has helped expand the gift card program into new international markets including Latin America, Europe and Asia. Andy has been passionate about gift cards since 2007, when he was responsible for the gift card program at Toys“R”Us. 
Melissa Clemente

Corporate Director of Innovation & Marketing

In her current role, Melissa is responsible for tailoring and elevating card marketing solutions for PLI’s clients. Recognized for her strategic and innovative approach, Melissa uses a test-learn-refine methodology that is critical to ongoing improvement and actionable innovation. Previously, Melissa worked at many of Chicago’s top advertising agencies, gravitating to leadership roles that leveraged her strong marketing and technical production experience.
Gail Cohen
UK Gift Card & Voucher Association (UKGCVA)
Director General

Gail Cohen is the Director General of the UK Gift Card & Voucher Association—the membership association and trade body that represents the industry. Her background is in brand building, sponsorship, marketing, and communications. She has worked across a number of sectors from film to education, the environment to luxury goods. Gail previously spent five years as Executive Director of Marketing, Audience & Communications at the British Film Institute. 

The UKGCVA is a highly active group, hosting forums, events and an annual conference. It also provides research and data, works in close collaboration with the Government on central issues, and advises & supports on legal and tax legislation. It has 90 members representing major retailers, service providers, intermediaries, and consultants. 
Amanda (Mandie) Culp

In her current role at Card Compliant, LLC, Amanda has built a foundation of knowledge surrounding anti-money laundering, unclaimed property, and consumer protection law. She specializes in issues pertaining to gift cards and stored value cards in all 50 states, territories, and Canada.  
Matt Davies

Founder and CEO, Founder

Since 2001, Matt has been managing merchant gift card programs. Matt is a co-founder and served on RGCA’s executive board. After 10 years of running gift card programs at Hollywood Video and Nike, he founded Powerhouse Brands, a gift card consulting and management firm, working with large brands such as adidas, Cold Stone Creamery, Crate and Barrel, among others, and a media organization called the Gift Card Network. GCN works to promote, educate, and inspire gift card stakeholders.
Katie Dougherty

Manager, Gift Cards

Katie is a seasoned gift card professional and has collaborated with a number of retail brands over the last 12 years. She has helped grow the gift card programs for Regis Corp, IHOP, and now Red Lobster. In her current role, she manages strategic expansion and management of the Red Lobster gift card program. Katie has worked with numerous franchise, B2B, B2C, and third party gift card programs and is passionate about the gift card industry.
Nathan Ehrlich

As a 22-year veteran, Nathan has served in a variety of management roles within the marketing department at The Home Depot—spending the past 13 years in gift cards. Nathan is a founder and past chairman of the RGCA, currently serves on the RGCA board of directors, and is the chair of the RGCA Government Relations Committee.
Nicole Glass

Nicole is a vertically integrated professional with a strong background in Licensing, Product Development, Operations and Sales. During her time at Enesco, the leader in Gifts and Collectibles, Sunbeam, Coleman, Wilton Industries, Houston Harvest and Zak Designs, Nicole managed relationships and product development for brands such as Disney, Coca-Cola and Warner Bros. Nicole is a Disney Innovator of the Year winner, Target Category Captain, and RGCA board member.
Kevin Halvorsen - KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Kevin Halvorsen served in his role as director of gift cards and compliance at Macy’s for more than a decade. In his 23-year tenure at Macy’s, Kevin has held several positions across the finance department. Kevin is a graduate of Rutgers School of Business.

Kathleen has been with The Cheesecake Factory for more than six years serving as the associate director of gift cards and incentives. She has more than 10 years of experience in business development for gift card partnerships and gift card programs; program development for corporate incentives and rewards; coupon partnerships; and loyalty program development and management. Kathleen graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
Matt Kerper
Vice President of Merchant Gift Card Relationships and Strategy 

Matt manages a team that is responsible for all primary gift card partnerships with merchants and distributors, inventory acquisition and gift card strategy. He has amassed more than 20 years of experience in the stored value and payments industries, and has held leadership positions at companies including CashStar, eBay, PayPal, Google, and parago. During the initial portion of his career, Matt pursued activities related to open-loop cards—spending time at both Trycera Financial and Green Dot.
Matias Marquez
Founder and CEO 

Matias founded Buyatab in 2009 and has grown the company into a global leader in digital gift giving; he is an active advisor to early-stage technology companies. As a result of his entrepreneurial success, Matias has received numerous accolades, including being named a BC Business Top 30 Under 30 recipient, winner of the 2016 EY Entrepreneur of The Year award, and was named to Canada’s Top 40 Under 40. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University.

Elish Meyers serves on the payments and prepaid instruments team at Rouse Frets Gentile & Rhodes, LLC. She holds extensive transactional experience in regulatory compliance for stored value card products and unclaimed property analysis. Her client base consists of an international network of more than 2,000 individuals and companies, and she also serves as vice president of retail at Card Compliant—a compliance specialty company that serves the prepaid and stored value card industry.
Shannah Miller

Shannah oversees new business development, partnerships, studio relations, and branded currency at Atom Tickets. She places a particular focus on developing strategies with partners to drive innovative multi-channel campaigns. Prior to working at Atom, she was the SVP of Brand Partnerships and Promotion at RCA Records, a division of Sony Music, where she helped build artists such as Justin Timberlake, Usher, P!NK, Sia, Pitbull and Britney Spears into global superstars and household names.
Trevor Monroe

As Business Planner for Nike Gift Cards, Trevor drives strategic development and manages financial planning to ensure the long-term health and growth of the program. Since joining Nike, Trevor has led the third-party program to more than doubled growth in only two years. During his tenure, he has managed marketing, operations, and planning strategy and execution.
Siobhan Moore

Siobhan is a commercial lawyer who leads clients with niche payment solutions through the financial regulatory maze. Clients may be new to the payment services sector, seek counsel on product or business developments or want to ensure their business and contractual structures protect their business throughout their life cycle. She regularly works with retailers, mobile phone operators, financial institutions, e-money institutions, payment institutions, program managers and resellers.

Dom Morea is the Senior Vice President and head of Gift Solutions at First Data, where he leads the transformation and growth of branded stored value solutions.  Since joining First Data in 2004, Morea has led initiatives across mobile commerce and loyalty solutions, oversaw the innovation labs team and product management for the company’s acquiring business which serves millions of merchants globally. 

A payments industry veteran, Morea has forged enterprise-level, strategic relationships with many of the world’s largest retail, banking, and technology brands such as: Apple, Bank of America, Citibank, ExxonMobil, Foursquare, Google, Gyft, McDonald’s, Microsoft, Tim Hortons, UniCredit Bank, and Wells Fargo.
Shawna Nichol

Shawna is responsible for the gift card value added service vertical at Samsung Pay, the leading mobile payments system. Prior to her current role, Shawna spent more than a decade working on the brand side of the prepaid industry, in third-party distribution with both InComm and Blackhawk Network, and in payment processing with Moneris Solutions. She previously held a position on the IGCC board and most recently has volunteered time with the RGCA as a committee member.
Nathan Rantala
Director of Business Development

As Director of Business Development at CardCash, Nathan spearheads the management and cultivation of all strategic partnerships and brand ambassadorship. He brings with him five years of experience in the gift card primary and secondary markets from companies including Cardpool and Blackhawk Network.

He is the founder and former chairman of Store Financial Services, LLC, co-founder of the Canadian Multi-Store Value Card Coalition, and founder and chairman of Card Compliant, LLC. Chuck has designed and implemented compliance systems for hundreds of prepaid programs. Paybefore named him the number one “Top Ten Payments Lawyer” in 2015.

He specializes in creating marketing and media strategies directly tied to driving sales, business development, and more.
Stephanie Thompson

National Sales Director

Stephanie Thompson brings more than 25 years of experience to her role as the national sales director at PLI Card Marketing Solutions. Her diverse printing expertise, ranging from card manufacturing to direct mail and fulfillment, allows her to deliver solutions that drive growth for PLI and its clients. Previously, Stephanie worked at GE where she was responsible for marketing and sourcing solutions for credit card and membership programs. 
Hollis Thornton
Senior Account Manager

Hollis is a senior account executive with Velocity B2B, which offers merchants comprehensive business-to-business (B2B) gift card program management services. She primarily focuses on growing revenue for merchant clients' B2B programs by marketing and selling those brands into the B2B marketplace. Hollis was previously with Stoner Bunting Gift Cards for more than 15 years and has worked with dozens of major companies to improve their gift card programs and the marketing of their brands.
Eric Turcovski

Product Manager 

Eric has been implementing change and innovation to the gift card ecommerce space for three years. Leaving the world of tech-contracting at Hewlett-Packard, he moved into the secondary gift card marketplace at SaveYa and grew his industry knowledge from the ground up. Post-SaveYa, he has initiated significant change at Gift Card Granny. Eric’s main focus and motivation has been spearheading the transition of a traditional aggregator and referral site into its own successful ecommerce platform.
Francesca Vanderwall

Gift Card Manager 

Francesca has served in her current role at Ulta Beauty since June 2017. Her responsibilities include program management and development for the gift card portfolio across the store, digital, third party, and B2B channels. Francesca has held various marketing roles across program management and operations at Crate and Barrel and Discover Financial Services. She studied Marketing and International Business at Indiana University and received her MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
Martha Weaver

Martha brings 17 years of prepaid and payments experience to Raise, where she leads the company’s efforts to establish and grow merchant partnerships. Previously, Martha served as director of the Gift Card Network, where she grew the membership, developed key educational content and events and served as an industry resource to the gift card community. Prior to that Martha held executive positions with Arroweye Solutions, Target Corporation and Travel Tags.

Robyn has been with Macy’s for more than 27 years, and for the past six years has been responsible for growing the Macy’s gift card program.
